Marinello Schools of Beauty was found in 1905 by Mrs. Ruth Maurer. The schools were named after Giovanni Marinello, the founder of Modern Cosmetology. The chain consists of over 35 locations offering training in Cosmetology, Skin Care, Hair Design, Esthetics, Massage Therapy, Spa Technology, Manicuring, Teacher Training and CIDESCO courses.[1]
Parent firm B&H Education has been owned by private equity firm ABRY Partners since 2010.
